Responsibilities:
Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient carePrepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environmentEducate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment careSupport dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflowPerform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentistManage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately
Qualifications:
2
years of dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
At least 1 year of Periodontics experience Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detailStrong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanorAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in dental software and technology is a plusRequirements:
Before applying, it is imperative that you meet the state requirements outlined below.
Connecticut:
certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
Florida:
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
Georgia:
CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
Massachusetts:
CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
Michigan:
Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification.
If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
New Jersey:
Proof of X-ray training.
New York:
Not applicable.
Ohio:
Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)Texas:
CPR Certification, TSBDE:
TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
